A flat-screen TV and a Blu-Ray player were allegedly shoplifted from a north-end department store by a man who used a shopping cart to get the out of the store.

The theft is alleged to have happened on Dec. 12, and the suspect was apprehended but then released by store staff. On Tuesday, the male suspect was located by police and arrested for the theft.

A 43-year-old Brandon man is to appear in court on Feb. 13, on a charge of theft.
